About the OIKODOME School of Biblical Studies

The name “Oikodome” means “the act of building; building as a process; edification, spiritual profit or advancement.
The saints of God are to be built-up / edified – that is accomplished by the Word of God.

It is our mission to strengthen churches by strengthening church leaders. We shall equip the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the statue of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love (Ephesians 4:12-16).

It is ours to call together pastors, preachers, teachers of the Word of God and church laity for the express purpose of perfecting saints, for the work of the ministry. This perfecting shall be done by teaching biblical hermeneutics-Context/Culture, Word Study and Syntax- in order that those who preach and or teach the word may be given to right dividing. We shall teach those who are the faithful in order that they might teach others. We shall stand on the foundation which is laid, Jesus Christ.
